Tamarack Lodge is a four season family-friendly resort located on the shores of Lake Winnibigoshish (Lake Winnie) in the heart of northern Minnesota.
Nestled in a protected bay shaded by towering pines and stands of birch, we offer everything you need for a memorable fishing or family vacation. Our peaceful resort is open year-round and has been the vacation destination of choice for many of our guests and their families for over 20 years!
Tamarack Lodge on Lake Winnie is your gateway to some of Minnesota’s best trophy walleye and jumbo perch fishing! Lake Winnie produces many trophy size Northern Pike and Musky. In addition to these widely sought after fish, Lake Winnie also has excellent populations of Crappies, Sunfish, and a virtually untouched population of huge Largemouth Bass. Unlike some other lakes, Lake Winnie not only produces limits of fish in the spring, but throughout the summer, fall and winter.
In addition to fishing, we have numerous family outdoor activities. Our location on Lake Winnie and in the Chippewa National Forest also provides spectacular Bald Eagle viewing opportunities, miles of hiking trails, cross country skiing, ATV, and snowmobile trails. There are three casinos just a short drive from your cabin and great shopping in Grand Rapids, Walker and Bemidji. If you enjoy golf, there are several nearby championship courses.s
Our Lake Winnie resort’s cabins are fully equipped and spotless when you arrive. They include appliances, Smart TV, cooking utensils, bedding, picnic tables and barbeque grills plus other amenities.
